Shipping Policy

Every artifact that departs from The Hermetic Apothecary, whether incense, spell bottles, curiosities, or ritual tools, is packaged with intention and care. This policy outlines how shipments are handled, how long they take, and what to expect once your items begin their journey.

1. Processing Time
Each item in the apothecary is handcrafted, blessed, or assembled to order.

Processing time is typically 3–7 business days
(unless otherwise stated on the product page).

​​Larger, specialty, or custom items may require additional preparation time. Any expected delays will be noted in advance.


2. Shipping Methods & Carriers
Orders are shipped using the following services:
USPS
UPS

​​Shipping options and rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.


3. Domestic Shipping (United States)
Domestic delivery estimates vary by carrier, but typically range:
2–10 business days once shipped.

​​These timeframes are estimates, not guarantees; delays may occur due to weather, holidays, or carrier issues.


4. Tracking Information
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email so you may follow your artifact’s journey from the apothecary to your door.

Please note:
Tracking may take 24–48 hours to update.

5. Lost, Delayed, or Stalled Shipments
Once a package is handed to the carrier, the apothecary cannot guarantee delivery.

If a package becomes:
lost
severely delayed
or stalled in transit

​​You may contact me, and I will assist you in reaching out to the carrier.
However, replacements or refunds cannot be guaranteed until the carrier completes their investigation.

​Every situation will be handled with fairness and care.


6. Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, please contact the apothecary within 7 days of delivery with:
your name
order number
photos of the damage

Depending on the item and availability, you may receive:
a replacement,
or a refund.

Damage claims made after 7 days may not be eligible.


7. Incorrect Addresses
Please ensure your address is entered correctly at checkout.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided:
the apothecary is not responsible for lost or undeliverable packages
refunds may not be available

​​If the package is returned to me:
I can reship it once the buyer pays additional shipping costs.

8​. Unclaimed or Refused Packages
If a package is:
refused
unclaimed
or returned by the carrier

…the buyer will be responsible for:
reshipment costs, or
may request a refund minus the original shipping fee.

​​This does not apply to packages returned due to carrier error.


9. Combining Orders
If multiple orders are placed separately, they may be combined at the apothecary’s discretion.
Excess shipping fees may be refunded if items are sent together.


10. Seasonal Delays
Please expect extended shipping times during:
the winter holidays
major postal backlogs
or high-demand periods (Samhain, solstices, etc.)

Refund Policy

​Welcome, traveler. The artifacts and services offered through The Hermetic Apothecary are crafted, curated, and prepared with intention. This policy explains how refunds, returns, cancellations, and reshipments are handled within this space—so expectations are clear for both seeker and practitioner.


Refunds for Physical Items (Curiosities, Incense, Spell Bottles, Etc.)
All physical artifacts are handcrafted and often one-of-a-kind. As such:

​A. No Refunds for Change of Mind
Refunds are not offered for:
buyer’s remorse
dissatisfaction with metaphysical results
personal expectations of how a product “should work”
variations in color, form, or natural materials

​​B. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives:
damaged
defective
or significantly different from the description

Please contact the practitioner within 7 days of delivery with:
your name
order number
a photo of the issue

You may be offered:
a replacement
or a full refund
depending on availability and nature of the item.

​C. Natural Variation
Because items are made by hand and often from organic materials:
shapes, textures, colors, weight, and scent may vary
resin mixtures and botanical blends differ slightly between batches
imperfections are part of the item’s character and not considered defects

​​D. Lost or Delayed Packages
Once an order is handed to the carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to that carrier.

If a package is delayed or lost:
the practitioner will assist in contacting the carrier but cannot guarantee refunds until the carrier’s investigation is complete
