This box was quite literally painted, using a toothpick to complete the top..it is perm. sealed inside and out, and may be wiped clean with a very damp cloth if needed..the fairy image was an accident actually, I believe she was meant to be there now.. There are securely scattered rhinestones on this piece, difficult to capture on photos, however they glisten with the right lighting.. Box has magnetic closure..
