Intellectual Property Policy

Effective Date: 12/26/2025

Welcome to WitchesMarketplace.com (“WMP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Intellectual Property Policy explains how intellectual property is owned, used, protected, and respected on our platform. By using WMP as a buyer, vendor, or visitor, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Intellectual Property — The Short Version

Here’s the simple truth:

  • WMP owns the platform — our branding, website design, text, and visuals are protected.

  • Vendors own their work — your products, art, photos, and descriptions remain yours.

  • By listing on WMP, vendors allow us to display and promote their content to help sell it.

  • Don’t sell or upload stolen, copied, or unlicensed work. We will remove it.

  • If your intellectual property is being used without permission, tell us — we’ll handle it.

This policy exists to protect creators, respect original work, and keep Witches Marketplace fair for everyone.

1. Ownership of Platform Content

All content created, owned, or published by WMP, including but not limited to:

  • Website design and layout

  • Logos, brand marks, badges, and seals

  • Text, graphics, icons, imagery, and templates

  • Original copy, guides, and educational materials, is the exclusive intellectual property of WitchesMarketplace.com and/or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any WMP content without prior written permission.

2. Vendor Intellectual Property

Vendors retain full ownership of the intellectual property they upload or sell on WMP, including:

  • Product designs

  • Artwork, photography, and descriptions

  • Branding, logos, and shop names

  • Digital or physical creations

By listing products on WMP, vendors grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use their submitted content solely for platform operations, including:

  • Displaying products and shop pages

  • Marketing, promotions, and social media features

  • Site functionality and search visibility

This license ends when the vendor removes their content or closes their shop, except where required for legal or operational reasons.

3. Prohibited Content & Infringement

Vendors may not upload or sell content that:

  • Infringes on another person’s copyright, trademark, or patent

  • Uses copyrighted characters, logos, or imagery without permission

  • Replicates or closely imitates another creator’s protected work

  • Violates licensing terms or intellectual property laws

WMP reserves the right to remove any content believed to violate intellectual property rights with or without notice.

4. Reporting Intellectual Property Violations

If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed on WMP, please contact us with the following:

  • Your full name and contact information

  • A description of the copyrighted or trademarked work

  • The specific URL or listing believed to be infringing

  • A statement confirming you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf

Reports can be sent to:
Support@witchesmarketplace.com

False or bad-faith claims may result in account action.

5. Counter-Notices

If a vendor believes their content was removed in error, they may submit a counter-notice with supporting documentation. WMP will review the claim and take appropriate action based on applicable laws.

6. Trademarks

“WitchesMarketplace,” associated logos, slogans, and brand elements are trademarks of WMP and may not be used without express written permission.

Vendor trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Platform Protection & Enforcement

WMP takes intellectual property seriously. We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate repeat infringers

  • Remove listings or shops that violate this policy

  • Cooperate with legal authorities when required

8. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated at any time to reflect changes in law or platform operations. Continued use of WMP constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
